Park Theater • Laura Roth & Hui Cox - Jazz Series. Although Laura and Hui have separately performed a variety of musical genre, they have each come home to their deepest musical love, jazz. In doing so, they are calling upon the works of Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Chaka Kahn, Chick Correa, Sting, Gershwin, and others. Such diversity is possible, they believe, because virtually any song played with a unique approach and freedom can become jazz. Laura will sing in this 90 minute concert and Hui will back Laura in special arrangements as he plays electric, acoustic, classical, MIDIed 7-string guitar, mandolin, and electric bass, from his lifetime collection of nearly thirty stringed instruments. • 7:30 pm • The Park Theater, 14 Park Street, Glens Falls, NY, www.parktheatergf.com • General Admission: $20
